TERMINATOR SALVATION CONTEST

1. Terminator Contest (the “Contest”) starts Monday, May 4, 2009 at 12:01am (ET) and ends Friday, May 22, 2009 at 11:59 pm (ET) (the “Contest Closing Date”). To enter, log onto Sportsnet.ca, click on the contest link, and log into the contest using your Sportsnet.ca online contest account to receive one (1) entry into the contest. To obtain a free Sportsnet.ca online contest account, click on the “Register” button and fill out the appropriate fields in the “create an account” section. One (1) entry per person, household and/or email address per day. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

2. Bonus Entries: Receive up to ten (10) bonus entries per day when entrants play the Terminator Game. Five (5) bonus entries will be awarded for each level successfully completed, up to a maximum of ten (10) bonus entries per person, per day.

3. No Purchase Entry: To enter the Contest without creating a Sportsnet.ca online contest account, legibly print a 50-word essay on “a favourite sport featured on sportsnet.ca”, along with your name, age, address, and contact telephone number. One no purchase entry per person, per day.

4. A random draw will be made by a representative of Rogers Sportsnet Inc. (“Sportsnet”) on Monday, May 25, 2009 at approximately noon (ET) at One Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario, from all eligible entries received as of the Contest Closing Date. The selected entrant will be contacted by e-mail or telephone as indicated on their entry.

5. If a selected entrant cannot be reached by Thursday, May 28, 2009, declines the prize, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, or fails to return a signed acknowledgement and release, another eligible entrant will be selected.

6. This Contest is open to all residents of Canada, except for the province of Quebec, who are over the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Employees or persons living with employees of Sportsnet, Promodem Media Inc., Sharp Canada, Warner Bros. Corp., and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible.

7. If the identity of an online entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

8. Participants are eligible to win one (1) 52" Sharp Aquos LCD TV, Retail Value $2199.99.

9. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Sportsnet reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.

10. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question via e-mail, fax or telephone. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.

11. The selected entrant may be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner.

12. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address and/or video, audio, or photograph in any publicity carried out by Sportsnet and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. The winner consents to their photograph being taken by Sportsnet for such use, without further compensation.

13. By entering this contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Sportsnet, its advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s). Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

14. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

15. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant. To receive a copy of the Contest rules or for the winner’s name, send a postage paid, self-addressed envelope on or before June 1, 2009 to “TERMINATOR CONTEST”, Marketing Solutions, Rogers Sportsnet Inc., One Mount Pleasant, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 3A1.

16. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winners may come from any geographical area so as long as they qualify to enter. Sportsnet is unaware of how many entrants there may be.

17. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Sportsnet. Sportsnet takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.

18. All entries become property of Sportsnet which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the Web site during the Contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest. Sportsnet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sportsnet corrupts the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sportsnet reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

19. Sportsnet is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. Entrant's data shall not be used for any other reason or provided to any third party unless the entrant grants consent through an opt-in check box on the Contest registration page. If the entrant opted-in at the time of entry and later does not wish his/her personal information to be used for non-Contest purposes by any third parties, and would like his/her personal information removed from the Contest database at the conclusion of this Contest or at any time after the conclusion of the Contest, a request must be sent via e-mail to National.Contests@sportsnet.rogers.com or in writing to “WATCHMEN CONTEST”, Rogers Sportsnet Inc., One Mount Pleasant, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 3A1, Attn: Marketing Solutions. 20. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Sportsnet. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
